Backyard Dinner Party

Not so long ago, EMMA Magazine threw a backyard dinner party for its one year anniversary. Set outside, so that we could celebrate in Arizona’s consistently perfect weather, the outdoor dinner party captured everything we love at EMMA.

While the theme of the evening was not “repurpose,” that is certainly what it seemed. The extra long table needed a little customization so thrifted sheets substituted a traditional tablecloth as well as the mint and white striped napkins. The glasses were made from recycled wine bottles from Refresh Glass. To add pops of bright colors, Fiori Dloral Design expertly put together bouquets in dotted milk glass vessels from Afloral.com.

Under a subtle glow of strung lights, EMMA’s contributors bonded over their hard work from the past year and look forward to what the future has in store.

Photography was by Karie Denny.

Alejandra likes ice cream, dancing and pretty things. You can usually find her exploring downtown Phoenix, where she lives, or singing to herself while writing in a coffee shop.
