Homemade Ice “Chalk”

Cold and colorful are a perfect combination on a warm summer day! Three simple ingredients and an hour in the freezer is all you need to get the kids playing outside –  whipping up a batch of fun has never been this easy!

Materials:

  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons washable kids paint
  • ice cube tray

Directions:

  1. Gather your materials.
  2. Mix all ingredients (working with one paint color at a time), whisking well until all lumps are dissolved.
  3. Fill the ice cube tray with mixture, and freeze until firm.
  4. Repeat as desired for multiple colors!
