How to make Fork Pom-Poms

Master this quick DIY sans the fancy pom-pom making gadgets. In fact, head no further than your kitchen drawer. Whether adding a bit of whimsy to a gift, brightening up your space with a garland like this one, or making someone’s day with a surprise bouquet, there is no end in creative ways to use them.

Materials

  • yarn
  • scissors
  • fork

Directions

  1. Wrap yarn around fork to desired thickness.
  2. Tightly wrap a piece of yarn around the middle of the wrapped yarn and knot in the middle.
  3. Carefully remove yarn bundle from fork.
  4. Cut through each side.
  5. Trim uneven pieces until pom-Pom looks even and round.
