We are so excited to share this short interview we did with Bonnie Bakhtiari. She is a talented designer and brand stylist at B is for Bonnie Design.
My design style in three words: I’d describe my design style as feminine, warm and heartfelt. In everything I create, I strive to capture the heart, values and personality of my clients. Or, if I’m designing for myself, I love representing my brand’s vibrant, approachable aesthetic visually!
If I had an extra hour today, I’d: I would leave my desk and to-do list behind and steal away to the lake with my handsome husband and our rambunctious golden retriever! The longer I work for myself, the more clearly I see how short life is, and how shockingly easy it is to let your days slip away while sitting in front of a computer screen or tackling client projects. At the end of my days, I believe I will treasure the moments spent truly living over those spent building my business and brand!
Best book I’ve read in the last year: The best book I’ve read this year has to be Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg. Her collection of inspiring thoughts on women in leadership positions in the corporate world, paired with intriguing anecdotes from case studies and her vast professional experience, made for a motivating and encouraging read that I didn’t want to put down.As a female business owner, it was validating to hear some of my fears and insecurities acknowledged, and so inspiring to hear them debunked in the same chapter through logical arguments and positive reinforcement!
Who should we feature next? If you’re looking to feature a talented boss lady that’s as real as they come, you have to check out Jenna Kutcher (@jennakutcher)! Her approach to balancing business and personal life is a breath of fresh air, and her dedication to pursue her dreams while blessing the lives of those she encounters encourages all around her to be better humans. I’m honored to call her friend, and always love following her journey!
